Title of the blog is simply because that's what I'm listening to right now. . .

Gonna give you a tiny cocktail of a post, let's start with 5 things I love right now:


1. Final Fantasy - Your Ex-Lover Is Dead (Stars cover)

I simply adore this song. . . I love the piano, jadda, this song is like a perfectly fitted dress. . .





2. Penelope

I came across this movie in the "sale" section of Platekompaniet in Bergen, and I just picked it as one of this months random film purchases. . . And lets just say I don't regret it! This movie is the sweetest thing ever. The colors and tones is immaculate. Such a feel-good movie is hard to find. . . It doesn't hurt that it's starring Christina Ricci and James Mcavoy ;)





3. Alber Elbaz/Lanvin for spring 09

Because his designs are amazing. . . I want to wake up every morning, walk to my closet and put on one of his creations. . . So pretty plurrrs, give it to me ;) Pictures from Style.com







4. The Wind. . .

It's that time of year. . . The wind is blowing outside. It's the perfect kind of wind, not too cold.
I've always been one of those melancholy kind of people, who loves walking around in the rain, sitting in bed all night listening to the wind outside, it's inspiring! More of my pictures here. . .

5. Making my designs come to life. . .

I'm working on my first piece of clothing, I've got an idea, I've got the fabric. . . So tomorrow, the real work starts. . . If it doesn't end up a total train-wreck I'll post a picture ;)

Oh and let's not forget my new topshop bow flats, they are brilliant!

The chaos has evolved hehe, I have to go under the knife! Next monday I'll have surgery, not cosmetic, I'm removing a cyst from my abdomen, and it's huge! Well, free liposuction you could call it, or just hell. . . Your choice. . .

But let's skip the bad news and forward to the good news! Got 4 goods to tell. . .

1. I spent the weekend in London. . . Spending money, eating brilliant food, just enjoying life. Got some great bargains, which makes me one happy baby. Bought some amazing All Saints dresses, jay! Here's a picture of one of the dresses. . .



2. I bought my self a gift, too keep my happy when I figure out how to do after the surgery. A 2008 collection Chloé bag. Yes it might be a bit over the top as a "feel good gift", but damn, it feels amazing! It's a dark brown padlock messenger bag, pure magic I tell you.



3. I'm planning a trip to Zanzibar with my best friend, we're going in the beginning of June. . . If everything goes acording to plan.

4. I got a mail from Getty Images, they want to enroll me into their little piece of photography heaven. So right now I'm downloading the tax-forms, the model release form and the agreement. . . Took me a vile to read the agreement, but it seems "all good".

So it seems, if we look at the whole picture, and kind of cross out the whole surgery bit, my life is good shit these days :)

new doggy and some more pre-fall 09

Let's start with the little taste of fall 09, Alexander Wang this time. . . He went for sexy, and that's what he gave us. . . Piff, I love this collection.


This outfit is just a whole lot of fun. I love the leather vest. . .


The perfect "little black dress"


This is my favorite dress in the collection, love the big black bow in contrast to the pretty little white dress. Me wants it!

Ok, so on the 4th of January I'm getting my puppy!
She is the cutest thing ever. Her name (on paper) is Faks Always a Golden Heart, but I need to come up with something easier ;)
She's a Silky Terrier, and tiny, but there's a whole lot of dog in that tiny little body of hers.
Can't wait to get her. My sister is getting one as well, so for 6 months they are going to be living together. So tomorrow we're going out shopping for a big bed they can share. This far the only things I've bought for her is a bowl she can eat from and a leash so I can take her to the park when she needs some fresh air :)

pre-fall 09

It seems like it's not long since the Spring and Resort collections were rolling in, but now there's a new season in town "Pre-Fall 09"! Happy times, makes for one happy baby!
I've always been more off a fall/winter kind of person, so this suits me just perfect!

There's not much out yet, but some of my favorites has arrived with a little bit of juice.

ZAC POSEN:









Zac Posen is one of my definite favorites so far. It seems "old glamor" is a big thing in fall 09, as you see in both Posen and Chanel. Posen puts his focus on a more "western European" old glamor. You could imagine the "zac posen woman" strutting her stuff in Paris. The collection is flirty, feminine and sexy. His collection was filled with little dresses, exuberant strong colors, it's simply fun. . .

CHANEL:


I love this coat! And the boots!







Chanel really fascinated me this time. . . It's got this strong eastern European empire feel to it, all the way from the head pieces worn by the women to the soviet inspired uniforms worn by the men. It's a brilliant collection, full of amazing pieces. My favorite must be the military jackets, coats and boots worn by the men.

BURBERRY PORSUM:









Christopher Bailey - I love you! I'm not a big fan of the flares though (but they make for a cool effect in the pictures), well I'm not big on pants really. . . Only if they're straight or skinny as hell. But the jackets and trenches in the most amazing deep colors and luxurious fabrics. The jewelry and the shoes are as candy for the eye as well. So start saving up money, and get a fabulous dark look for next fall.
